As a BI Analyst – Data & Visualisation, you’ll play a key role in enabling data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation. You’ll design and deliver insightful dashboards, analyse complex datasets to uncover trends and opportunities, and partner with teams across the business to translate business questions into meaningful analytics solutions. This role sits at the heart of how Optus turns data into actionable insight.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
  • Design and support ETL workflows, including data cleansing and transformation to prepare data for analysis.
  • Partner closely with colleagues across the business to gather requirements, prioritise analytics requests, and present insights clearly and concisely.

What You Bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in business intelligence, data analysis, and dashboard development.
  • Deep technical capability across BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and data technologies including SQL and ETL platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights for technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • A continuous improvement approach with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to data quality.
