As Senior Manager, you will drive value-adding team performance by providing leadership and guidance in terms of business acumen, stakeholder management, and some technical aspects (interpreting data, how best to structure efficient query & analysis, etc.)

 

The lines of business supported will be Mobile Postpaid, Prepaid, and Digital Mobile, which contribute significant revenues to Singtel.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 5-6 Business Analysts, collaborating closely with stakeholders to provide strategic, data-driven analysis to guide business decisions and to identify opportunities and develop insights to drive revenue.
    • Management & regulatory reporting, including enhancement and ensuring data integrity, including during phases of enterprise data warehouse migration
    • Simulation and analysis for business cases for product launches and other revenue-generating initiatives
    • Deep-dive segmentation and customer profiling for sharper campaign targeting
    • Drill into strategic business performance issues
    • Analyse market landscape and competitive activities
    • Annual Operating Plan (AOP) market sizing and budget model simulation; analysis for target-setting and key AOP initiatives
    • Recommend relevant actions that provide meaningful results to the business e.g. identifying new growth opportunities, calling out risks to business performance and how to address them
  • As Senior Manager, to drive value-adding team performance by providing leadership and guidance in terms of business acumen, stakeholder management, and some technical aspects (interpreting data, how best to structure efficient query & analysis, etc.)
  • The lines of business supported will be Mobile Postpaid, Prepaid, and Digital Mobile, which contribute close to $2bn in revenue to Singtel

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Masters degree preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance or related quantitative field with at least  8 years of relevant work experience in business analysis, product marketing and/or finance fields.  Candidates with product marketing/customer lifecycle management/finance experience acquired in telecommunications industry will have added advantage.
  • Well versed in excel modelling.

  • Strong spreadsheet skills with experience creating financial dashboards or models. Candidates with experience writing SQL/SAS queries and pulling data from enterprise data warehouse will also have added advantage.
