Reporting to the Director, Business Development, the candidate will be involved in 5G Business Development activities for Enterprise Mobility Product and Platform unit in this financial year, the primary focus will to lead the sales engagement and develop industry domain knowledge and help customers develop 5G use cases. He/she will engage the Industry partners and solution providers to drive deep collaboration and to support Singtel product capabilities and lead 5G introductory presentations to share Singtel’s key product differentiator and value proposition to gain customer’s mindshare.

 

Key Responsibilities:
New Business Generation
•    Engage business development with customers aligned with Singtel 5G strategies to drive new growth areas, acquiring new businesses, new customers and profitable business.
•    Lead virtual teams across various key internal stakeholders to bring together and explore viable solutions and appropriate response to tender/RFI/RFQ/CFC requirements.
•    Working with various internal teams to formulate value propositions and product positioning to create differentiations. 
•    Execute lead generation activities and promotions to drive awareness and accelerate adoption.
•    Cultivate and maintain relationships with complementary technology and marketing partners to develop new opportunities, joint business plans and value propositions.
•    Contribute to our business development and marketing strategies by being a participant in quarterly, annual and ad hoc planning discussions.


Market Development/Thought Leadership
•    Keep abreast of key trends affecting the business – new development in the 5G market sector.
•    Must possess a strong intellectual curiosity and desire to understand and solve client pain points.
•    Possesses strong critical reasoning skills; Able to provide meaningful, well-reasoned critiques and suggestions on the direction of a variety of initiatives.


The ideal candidate should possess: 
•    A recognised degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Computer Science.
•    At least 10 years of working experience in ICT industry and familiar with SingTel, IDA/ government and Singapore ICT players.
•    Good understanding of Telecommunication/ IT services and solutions and has experience working with Partners and Solution Providers.
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to formulate, write and succinctly communicate our value, strategy and proposed solution on client opportunities.
•    Good technical and/or operational background with experience managing projects.
•    Ability to work well under stressful situations with tight timelines.
•    Able to cultivate trust and credibility with peers and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization
•    Customer-oriented personality and good team player, strong work ethic, results-oriented, flexible, patient and adaptable; persuasive and diplomatic
•    The individual must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and must be able to partner with partners to execute on the 5G Go To Market plans.
