As a Cloud Architect, you will be working on pre-sales engagement and alignment of services to the delivery team. You will own the Azure Cloud Infrastructure technical customer engagements including architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects and/or pilots. You should have experience in customer-facing roles and success leading deep technical architecture discussions with senior customer executives, Enterprise Architects, IT Management.
What will you do?
- Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernization roadmap. Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, while orchestrating key resources and infusing key Infrastructure technologies (e.g. Windows and Linux IaaS, Security, Networking, etc)
- Ensure all solutions exhibit high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, and appropriate reusability and reliability upon deployment
- Assess the Customers' knowledge of Azure platform and overall cloud readiness during presales engagement
- Apply Azure Cloud Adoption Framework, Design Patterns and Well-Architected Framework to solution design during pre-sales stage
- Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform
- Provide sizing for the solution architecture design and work with NCS partners where required
- Be able to work with implementation team to handhold them with solution design and handshake the agreed solution to the delivery architect for implementation
- Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community
- Work with Head of Cloud as the competency leader to create new service offerings as well as to contribute to the development of service description, scope of work of the new offerings
- Work with Head of Cloud to optimize existing offerings with updates to service descriptions, scope of work
- Be an Azure Platform evangelist with customers, as well as internal communities and be a mentor to guide new members for training and certifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field, or IT equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation
- Ability to solve customer problems through cloud technologies
- Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects.
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
- Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
- Azure Solution Expert certification
- Deep domain expertise of cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e. Windows and Linux IaaS, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS)
- Expert Knowledge in Containers and Policy-as-Code, IaC would be advantageous
- Knowledge in GCC presales working knowledge will be advantageous
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms would be advantageous
- Azure Sentinel knowledge and real working experience will be advantageous
- Possess initiative and disposition with a strong commitment and orientation towards results and high quality standards
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to think out of the box
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivator with a positive attitude and with high energy

- Proficient in written and spoken English
