The Senior Credit Management Executive (Consumer & Debt Management) will oversee both consumer policies and debt management for both consumer and corporate sectors. He/ She will be managing consumer bankruptcies, company insolvencies, and overseeing the complete insolvency processes. The role also involves managing various accounts, ensuring the efficient execution of all related procedures, and handling consumer operations such as administration, consumer blacklisting, compliance, and reporting. 

 

Make an Impact by:

 

  • Govern the complete insolvency process, including liquidation, judicial management, receivership, Chapter 11, and other related procedures.
  • Oversee and manage all activities related to company worklists for partnerships and sole proprietorship accounts.
  • Lead the full set of debt agency assignments and payment listings for corporate and consumer accounts.
  • Ensure compliance and efficiency in handling Bankruptcy and Debt Repayment Scheme procedures.
  • Supervise debt management activities to ensure an efficient recovery process, including but not limited to write-offs, write-backs, deceased account and paused activity.
  • Collaborate with the IT team and other stakeholders to address and resolve system defects, ensuring issues are properly closed.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage and handle escalation cases effectively and efficiently.
  • Oversee all consumer activities, including blacklist management, incident management, and handling change requests.
  • Review and enhance consumer and debt management processes for greater efficiency
  • Monitor the health of consumer dunning (e.g. Barring, Suspension, Termination)
  • Lead and supervise team members’ work productivity and accuracy and provide weekly and monthly reportings to Manager
  • Assisting managers and collaborate with various stakeholders initiative and Projects
  • Prepare reports and presentation besides providing briefings and trainings to internal and external stakeholders on initiatives, projects, polices and processes.
  • Review work processes and recommend strategies for improvements and efficiency
  • Perform adhoc duties as assigned to broaden knowledge and experience 

 

Skills for Success:

 

  • Degree in Business Management/ Accountancy or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years experience and above with solid exposure in debt management
  • Experience in working in the Telco/ Banking industry is a plus.
  • Exposure in proof of debts, liquidation, and managing debt collection agents is required
  • Strong leadership and team management skills 
  • Expertise in managing complex processes, with a focus on compliance and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
