Senior Cyber Security Consultant (Contract)

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Cyber Security Consultant with strong experience in cybersecurity and a solid technical foundation in network, infrastructure, and cloud security to lead IAM strategy, architecture, and governance frameworks across the organization. This role provides technical leadership for IAM/PIAM initiatives, drives enterprise adoption, and ensures alignment with regulatory and cybersecurity objectives, while also contributing to broader security programs.

Make An Impact By

• Define IAM and PIAM strategy aligned with business and regulatory requirements
• Design and operate scalable IAM/PIAM architecture for on-premises and multi-cloud environments
• Establish frameworks for identity governance, access control, and privileged access management
• Lead IAM/PIAM programs including onboarding, transformation, and modernization initiatives
• Act as SME and escalation point for complex IAM issues
• Identity Governance & Lifecycle Management
• Define and oversee:
  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models
  • Access request workflows
  • Certification and attestation processes
  • User lifecycle management
• Develop and implement identity governance plans
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for IAM and PIAM
• Establish and enforce IAM security standards, policies, and procedures
• Provide oversight on access control across mainframe and distributed platforms
• Oversee implementation, integration, and optimization of IAM/PIAM solutions
• Identify architectural gaps and drive remediation strategies
• Ensure adoption of modern authentication mechanisms (SSO, MFA, password less, etc where applicable)
• Partner with infrastructure, application, cloud, and security teams for Implementation
• Ensure high-quality documentation of systems, processes, and controls

Skills For Success

• 8–12+ years of experience in IAM/PIAM with strong architectural exposure
• Proven experience leading IAM transformation or large-scale implementations
• Deep expertise in:
  • Identity governance and administration (IGA)
  • Privileged access management (PAM)
  • Authentication and federation technologies
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with enterprise IAM tools (SailPoint, Delenia, CyberArk, Azure AD, etc.)
• Exposure to Zero Trust and identity-centric security models
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills

Preferred Certifications and Skills

• CISSP / CISM or equivalent cybersecurity certification.
• Experience with PAM solutions (e.g., CyberArk, Delinea, Beyond Trust)
• Experience in IAM/IGA platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta)
• Microsoft SC-300 (Azure Entra ID) or equivalent identity platform certification
• Strong Experience in Windows Active Directory and/or Linux system administration
• Cloud security certifications (AZ-500, AWS Security Specialty)
