This role is accountable to establish, develop, expand, and optimize data security architecture, design and implementation under Design & Architecture, for Singtel Data Platform & Management, within Group IT

Make an Impact by

• Evaluate the implementation of data security standards such as access controls, authentication, Backup & Recovery, data disposition, data tokenization, data masking, data resiliency, data encryption.
• Design and implement correct approach to data security, privacy, protection framework and optimized service & access management
• Understand business requirement and solution design to develop and implement solutions that adhere to big data architectural guidelines, address regulatory and compliance requirements
• Design, Develop and maintain data security and privacy framework, policy, solution & systems
• Design, Develop and maintain data protection and consent management systems
• Drive BAU process, testing and tooling to improve data security, privacy and protection
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, control and optimizing data technology service delivery.
• Build robust and scalable data infrastructure to support needs from internal and external users, regulators and compliance requirement.
• Review and approve high level & detailed design to ensure that the solution delivers to the business needs and align to the data landscape & analytics, architecture principles and roadmap
• Understand and solution latest data security standards and tools to apply and adhere to the required data controls for user access in Cloudera/Hadoop, Oracle and other DB platform and overall data environments & projects.
• Support and contribute to development guidelines and standards for data security, privacy with Risk, Compliance, Regulatory functions.

Skills for Success 

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data/Business Analytics or equivalent.
• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in data warehousing / Big Data/Hadoop / RDBMS – Security, Privacy, Protection technologies and tools.
• Expert in building data management solutions - data security, privacy solutions, architectures and Implementation
• Ability to troubleshoot and issue resolution complex security, privacy requirement
• Experience on structured and unstructured data design / modeling, data access, security and data storage techniques
• Experience with relational SQL and NOSQL DB
• Experience to do cost estimation based on the design and development
• Experience with Agile, DevOps tools and environment
