This role is for an experienced Technical Project Manager with expertise in ICT delivery architecture, cloud operations, and ITIL-based service operations.

 

The candidate will have hands-on experience managing technical projects, working with Solutions Presales, and overseeing the transition of new telecommunications products and services into Day1 and Day2 operations.

 

The candidate should possess a deep understanding of both on-premises and cloud-based ICT environments, particularly Azure operations, and be familiar with Digital Platforms for Automation, Monitoring tools, and ServiceNow.

 

Make an Impact by:

1. ICT Delivery Operations

  • Support the end-to-end delivery of ICT outsourcing projects, focusing on server, storage, and network operations within both on-prem and cloud environments.

  • Participate in ICT cloud outsourcing efforts, particularly in Azure operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and optimization.

  • Collaborate with Solutions Presales teams to define delivery scope, assess costs, plan resource utilization, and evaluate potential risks in technical projects.

  • Apply ITIL framework principles to manage Delivery Service lifecycles, ensuring adherence to best practices for service delivery and operations.

  • Lead the implementation of technical projects, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.

  • Implement automation and monitoring tools to improve operational efficiencies and service reliability.

  • Participate in ServiceNow operations to implement incident management, service requests, change management, problem management, and maintaining the configuration management database (CMDB).

 

2. Delivery Service Operations

  • Collaborate with Product and Product Engineering teams to transition new telecommunications products and services into Day1 (go-live) and Day2 (ongoing) operational environments.

  • Oversee and manage the transition scope of work, ensuring that all deliverables meet operational readiness criteria.

  • Ensure the successful integration and support of networking products, including Fortinet, Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco Route and Switch, and VMware VeloCloud.

  • Work closely with Product, Product Engineering, Day1, Day2 operations teams to ensure a smooth handover of services and monitor the performance and stability of the new products post-transition.

 

Skills for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ICT outsourcing, cloud technologies, and networking, with a hands-on approach to project delivery.

  • Certifications: Azure Cloud Certified (required) ITIL Practitioner (preferred).

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, in a delivery and operations capacity. In-depth understanding of networking technologies, including Fortinet, Cisco SD-WAN, Cisco Route and Switch, and VeloCloud.

  • Demonstrated experience leading technical projects, including managing scope, costs, resources, and risks.

  • Proficient with automation and monitoring tools for ICT infrastructure management.

  • Experience with ServiceNow for IT service management, specifically in incident, service request, change, and problem management, as well as CMDB.

  • Strong leadership and project management skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and work under pressure.

  • Proven ability to deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals while managing costs and risks.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on improving service delivery and operational efficiency.

  • Adaptability to evolving technologies and business needs within the telecommunications sector.
