The Digital AI Tribe has been established to allow the rapid development and launch of AI initiatives across all Optus Digital assets including the My Optus App, Optus Website for both Sales & Service, Messaging and Voice Contact Centres.

The Senior Data Analyst is a critical role in the Digital Analytics Chapter within the Digital AI Tribe. The Senior Data Analyst will be a strong proactive contributor to the delivery of squad OKR’s, looking not just at delivery of existing initiatives, but also the identification and delivery of new opportunities across all Digital assets.

 

Your day in the life of a Senior Digital Data Analyst at Optus

  • Mentoring Data Analysts, in querying digital data, performing analyses, and presenting findings in a clear and understandable language.
  • Translating sophisticated business questions into analytical tasks and performing complex data, statistical and commercial analysis to understand how customer behaviour, product changes and adjustments to digital assets impact the Consumer business.
  • Prioritising, defining, and implementing tracking solutions across digital assets, ensuring that all critical aspects of sales and service customer journeys are captured.
  • Delivering findings back to the senior business partners to drive decision-making and contributing to the overall chapter delivery of business insights and recommendations to delivery against the business objectives.

Your skills to pay the bills

  • Relevant qualifications and training in a quantitative field (e.g. Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, Statistics) and previous exposure in a variety of Digital Marketing, Digital Sales and/or Digital Service in large organisation.
  • Proficiency in analytical techniques SQL &/or SAS coding skills complimented with advanced Excel, communication and presentation skills.
  • Solid understanding of data structure and data extraction and experience in a digital implementation environment.
  • Adaptive to change and results orientated with an attention to detail and accuracy.
