We’re on a mission to enhance customer contact experience with AI. As Senior Director of AI Product, you’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of AI products and agents enabling better Customer Contact Experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Shape and execute a multi-year AI product portfolio aligned with Optus’ vision.
- Lead and inspire cross-functional agile squads, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Drive end-to-end product development—from ideation and POC to scaled enterprise adoption.
- Champion continuous improvement in both established and next-generation AI technologies while maintaining a balanced roadmap within the portfolio.
- Own financial performance, roadmap prioritization, and commercial outcomes.
- Implement fit for purpose controls for AI that adhere to relevant standards and internal policies.
- Champion high output delivery practices for AI aligned with Optus standards and frameworks within the portfolio.
- Enhance operational intelligence to provide insights for improving AI powered customer experiences
- Influence senior stakeholders and champion AI integration across Optus’ technology ecosystem.
- Provide thought leadership to position Optus as a safe digital-first leader in AI-powered experiences.
- Manage and grow a team of Product Managers
What Makes You Perfect
- 10+ years in digital, product, or AI, including 4+ years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven success in scaling products and digital operations
- Expertise in AI applications, market trends, and customer-centric design.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and financial acumen with a track record of data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to influence and transform a matrixed organization.
- Ability to inspire teams and create a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
