Be a Part of Something BIG!

Reporting to the VP of Enterprise 5G, the candidate will lead a team of business development and pre-sales staff to drive the ideation and adoption of 5G solutions with enterprise customer, translating to business deal and sales. The candidate, as part of the leadership team, will work with the peer across the internal BUs as well as CFU and segment to strategize and execute the business development plan, engage customers and partners. The candidate will work closely with sales business unit and business operation to achieve sales, P&L KPI as well as operations cadence such as billing timeliness and accuracy.


Make an Impact by
New Business Development

  • Engage business development with customers aligned with Singtel 5G strategies to drive new growth areas, acquiring new businesses, new customers and profitable business. Shaping Industry direction in adoption oof 5G as the defacto connectivity solution.
  • Lead virtual teams across various key internal stakeholders to bring together and explore viable solutions and appropriate response to tender/RFI/RFQ/CFC requirements. To exercise such business and technical acumen that you will be the go to person to shape the tender requirement.
  • Working with various internal teams to formulate value propositions and product positioning to create differentiations.
  • Execute lead generation activities and promotions to drive awareness and accelerate adoption.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with complementary technology and marketing partners to develop new opportunities, joint business plans and value propositions.
  • Support in all marketing and commercial activities to ensure the business meet its business and people objectives

Market Development/Thought Leadership

  • Keep abreast of key trends affecting the business – new development in the government sector, progress of commercial enterprises and development in the market environment specific to certain vertical industries.
  • Must possess a strong intellectual curiosity and desire to understand and solve client pain points.
  • Possesses strong critical reasoning skills; Able to provide meaningful, well-reasoned critiques and suggestions on the direction of a variety of initiatives. Having the initiative to try new things and innovate with customers and partners

Skills for Success

  • A recognized degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Computer Science. MBA will be a advantage
  • At least 15 years of working experience in Telco/ICT industry with track record in sales and business/market development. Demonstrated with annual achievement.
  • Familiar with SingTel, IDA/ government and Singapore ICT players.
  • Good understanding of Telecommunication/ IT services and solutions
  • Proven leader in leading sales or business development; driving product and solutions adoption with partners and solutions provider
  • Strong Telco and digital solutions knowledge
  • Technical and/or operational background with experience managing projects.
  • Driven, strategic, independent and critical thinking
  • Meticulous and responsible with strong analytical, organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work well under demanding situations with tight timelines.
  • Able to cultivate trust and credibility with peers and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Customer-oriented personality and good team player, strong work ethic, results-oriented, flexible, patient and adaptable; persuasive and diplomatic
