Senior Finance Manager (Group Management Reporting)

Reporting to Head of Finance, this role will actively participate in preparing the group reporting for external result announcement. He/ She will liaise with Strategic Planning team to ensure alignment of result messaging with overall group strategy and market position. You will also involve in the annual budgeting exercise, 5 years projections and monthly forecasting.  


Key responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth financial analysis, researching the market and monitor key trends and interpreting data related to the company and competitors.
  • Perform a range of analyses that will include industrial analysis, competitive analysis, and comparative valuation.
  • Perform competitive and cross divisional analysis of the industry peers and monitor the other public disclosures like the various presentations made at the investor seminars, conferences, etc.
  • Support the reviews of all result presentation decks on the company’s performance to be shared with senior management to ensure alignment of the key messages to the external parties.
  • Liaise closely with Singtel Group Investor Relations and NCS Strategy Planning team on addressing any queries with regards to the company’s performance and strategy.
  • Maintain and update the relevant database on potential queries that are of interest to the investor community and key developments that have occurred in the organization and provides valuable information regarding the company’s strategies, its operations, and the overall financial performance.
  • Drive the annual budgeting exercise e.g. propose a year-on-year revenue and EBITDA growth for the group and setting targets for the Client Service Units and Service Organisation. Subsequently to present the budget proposals to the Finance Head and provide timely simulations where necessary. 
  • Active involvement in the review of the Group’s monthly P&L forecast submissions from various business units and provide insightful assessment to the Finance Director and Finance Head on the forecast reasonableness.
  • Work closely with the financial analysts supporting the Client Services Units and Service Organisation to gain business insight for Group performance analysis.
  • Any ad-hoc projects and assignments when assigned.


The ideal candidate should be / possess:

  • Degree in Accounting with at least 10-12 years of relevant working experience in financial analysis and management reporting in MNC environment
  • Experience in IT services industry and Investor relations experience are preferred
  • Work experience in Big 4 audit firms and listed companies are required 
  • Possess good business acumen 
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with senior stakeholders and external parties
  • Strong leadership and highly motivated to overcome challenges, and able to act as change agent for the companyMeticulous, proactive, results oriented, hands-on and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadline
  • Advanced proficiency in MS applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
