You will participate as a change management consultant in the delivery of IT projects. Our job is to anticipate change impacts for IT implementations, and put in place the mechanisms that will help the users and the management transition smoothly. We typically work simultaneously in multiple initiatives, engaging different clients and project teams, at all stages of the project.

These are the key activities you will help us with:

  • Stakeholder identification and management: identify and analyze the key players, both agents of change and receivers of change
  • Pain point analysis: understand the client’s business processes define user journeys and identify current pain points for different stakeholders
  • Impact assessment: identify how the system changes will translate into business impacts, and find the connections between user journeys, user pain points and IT solutions
  • Change interventions: based on the impact analysis and the stakeholder assessment, identify and rationalize what change actions are needed to prevent issues and ensure a smooth transition
  • Implement the change management actions, including but not limited to communications, and monitor the effect and take corrective actions

     

    Additionally, the candidate will participate in Change Management development and dissemination activities

    • Participate in pre-sales activities - Qualify opportunities, prepare proposals & cost estimates and present these to clients
    • Assist in trainings, talks and other activities to communicate and enable internal staff to fulfil service offerings

                                                                                                                                   

    • Consulting experience:

  • At least 10 years’ exposure in providing business and/or IT consulting services to customers (e.g. from data gathering, analysis/ synthesis, problem solving to making recommendations and helping to facilitate customer decision making)
  • Experience in large proposal development
  • Ideally, experience in business process analysis

     

    Change Management:

  • Knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Participation in change management projects, integrating the change management work stream into the different phases in a project (IT or non IT)
  • Experience drafting and performing communications actions to different stakeholders

     

    Others:

  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS (written and oral)
  • EXCELLENT ANALYSIS SKILLS (being able to identify key points, structure ideas clearly, create written material which is clear, structured and concise)
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation, from business and from IT
  • Ability to work CREATIVELY (apply different perspectives to a problem, identify relations, create different ad-hoc solutions based on the same principle…)
  • PROACTIVITY (being able to take you own decisions, present alternatives)

Experience with government/ government related organisations and ICT sector is a preferred advantage
