How You will Make An Impact:

To support Singtel’s Digital InfraCo’s business to invest in digital and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in the region. The business includes Nxera AI-ready regional data centres, RE:AI AI cloud service and compute infrastructure, Singtel fibre cable investments and satellite capacity.

The role will be at the forefront of a fast-moving growth industry, and will play a dynamic/collaborative role in charting Singtel’s growth story into this space.

• Act as business partner to strategic business projects and initiatives, which may include data centre greenfield or brownfield projects, AI compute fit-out projects, fibre network and satellite infrastructure investments, capital raising and M&A.
• Provide prompt advice which is pro-active, pragmatic and risk-balanced. Liaising with relevant internal stakeholders to play an important role in internal decision-making process.
• Drafting and negotiating contracts with counterparties, in particular on all aspects of infrastructure development, project financing, power procurement, as well as other business service-related contracts (e.g. infrastructure and cloud services, procurement) and business partnerships/collaborations
• Be a collaborative partner in setting business risk strategies and processes to achieve commercial objectives.
• Provide guidance to the business in navigating unknowns in new markets and business models or initiatives.  This will require commercial acumen, with keen interest in learning and understanding strategic, commercial and other business drivers. In-house experience is a plus.
• Time management to cope with competing deadlines.

Skills for Success:

• Law degree (Singapore or other recognized law school)
• 8 years or more relevant experience.
• Drafting, legal advice, research, working knowledge of infrastructure and AI industry
• Corporate, projects, financing and/or M&A experience
• Pro-active, and pragmatic problem solver
• Commercial acumen
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Self-starter
• Collaborative approach
