Senior Manager, Business Development

The Cloud Business Development Manager will hunt for new business opportunities and close new business with a key focus on growing revenue in the Cloud business within Singtel Group. This position requires a strong drive for identifying customer business needs and for building relationships with primary influencers and customers. Being able to manage both C-level and operations interfaces is a pre-requisite and will be of crucial importance for your success in this role.





  • Prospect, identify, qualify and develop Cloud opportunities
  • Maintain and track progress of opportunities for management reporting
  • Consistently close new business to meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue objectives
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement while creating satisfied customers
  • Own, lead, and drive large Cloud and MS Bespoke RFPs in collaboration with other stakeholders within Singtel and its partners
  • Engage CxOs with thought leadership in Hybrid Cloud Operating Model discussions
  • Lead and mentor less experienced colleagues in executive engagement, large deal management, consultative selling and cloud solutioning



The ideal candidate should possess


  • Degree in IT or equivalent with proven track record in selling Cloud and Managed Services solutions
  • Strong understanding of hybrid cloud products and/or solutioning
  • Strong leadership skills to lead a team of Business Development Sales Managers
  • Proven track record of consultative solution selling to large enterprise
  • Extensive leadership experience in working collaboratively with other stakeholders that form a large deal pursuit team
  • Self-motivated, achievement oriented individual with strong interpersonal skill
  • AWS or Azure certification
