We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on AI & Cyber Transformation professional to accelerate the adoption of emerging technology such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation across the Group Cyber organisation.

 

Reporting to the Director,Cyber Strategy & Transformation, you will identify high-value AI opportunities, design and develop AI-enabled solutions, and lead their implementation to improve cybersecurity operations, governance, and business outcomes.

 

This is a hybrid role requiring strategic thinking, and technical execution. You will work closely with cybersecurity teams, technology partners, business stakeholders, and external vendors to transform ideas into scalable AI solutions that deliver measurable value.

 

Make an Impact by

 

  • Cyber Strategy & Transformation
    • Support the execution of strategic cyber transformation initiatives across the Group Cyber organisation.
    • Support the development and enhancement of cybersecurity operating models, governance frameworks, strategic roadmaps, and transformation priorities.
    • Conduct research and analysis on emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and industry best practices to support strategic decision-making.
    • Develop executive presentations, business cases, strategy papers, and recommendations for senior leadership.
    • Support organisational change initiatives that improve cyber capabilities, processes, governance, and ways of working.

 

  • AI, Innovation & Reference Architecture
    • Identify and assess opportunities to leverage AI, Generative AI (GenAI), automation, and emerging technologies to improve cybersecurity operations, governance, and business processes.
    • Develop reference architectures for AI-enabled solutions, including architectural patterns for GenAI applications, intelligent agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), workflow automation, and enterprise integrations.
    • Define reusable architecture components covering application design, data flows, model interaction, identity and access management, security controls, integration patterns, observability, deployment, and lifecycle management.
    • Develop solution blueprints and implementation patterns that can be reused across multiple use cases, cybersecurity domains, and operating companies.
    • Ensure AI reference architectures align with enterprise architecture principles, cybersecurity standards, cloud architecture, data governance, privacy, and responsible AI requirements.
    • Design end-to-end solution architectures for specific AI and automation use cases, translating business and technical requirements into scalable implementation designs.
    • Develop, prototype, and implement AI solutions, including Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs), Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), and production-ready applications.
    • Build AI-powered assistants, intelligent agents, workflow automation, and productivity solutions that address cybersecurity and business challenges.
    • Integrate AI solutions with enterprise platforms, cybersecurity technologies, cloud services, data platforms, and internal applications through APIs and automation frameworks.
    • Evaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, models, and development frameworks, recommending solutions based on business value, technical feasibility, security, scalability, and maintainability.
    • Contribute to AI governance, development standards, reference implementations, reusable assets, and best practices to support sustainable AI adoption across the organisation.

 

  • Programme Delivery & Stakeholder Management
    • Support and coordinate cross-functional cyber transformation and AI initiatives involving cybersecurity, technology, business units, operating companies, and external partners.
    • Coordinate project plans, implementation roadmaps, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple initiatives.
    • Facilitate workshops, design thinking sessions, requirements gathering, architecture reviews, and solution demonstrations.
    • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams, enterprise architects, developers, data engineers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and strategic partners to deliver successful outcomes.
    • Support architecture review and governance processes to ensure proposed solutions align with agreed reference architectures and enterprise standards.
    • Track implementation progress, manage project risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.

 

  • Governance & Continuous Improvement
    • Support the development of policies, standards, and operating principles related to cybersecurity, AI adoption, architecture, and digital transformation.
    • Ensure solutions align with organisational security, privacy, governance, regulatory, and risk management requirements.
    • Maintain and continuously enhance AI reference architectures, architecture patterns, and implementation guidance based on lessons learned, technology evolution, and emerging risks.
    • Define success measures and evaluate the operational and business impact of transformation and AI initiatives.
    • Promote knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement through reusable assets, architecture documentation, implementation guides, and lessons learned.

 

  • Stakeholder Support
    • Work with internal teams (e.g., IT, security operations, risk, and development teams) to support cybersecurity initiatives.
    • Collaborate with AI and development teams to support the implementation of security controls during development and prior to rollout.
    • Assist in preparing materials for meetings, workshops, and stakeholder updates.

 

  • Continuous Learning & Improvement
    • Stay updated on cybersecurity fundamentals, tools, and industry trends.
    • Proactively build skills in relevant areas (e.g., cloud security, AI security fundamentals, DevSecOps practices).
    • Support improvements in processes, tooling, and methodologies through research and feedback.

 

 

Skills for Success 

 

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.

 

  • Experience
    • 7–10 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology, digital transformation, solution architecture, development, software engineering, or technology consulting.
    • Demonstrated experience delivering technology or transformation initiatives from concept through implementation.
    • Experience designing solution architectures or reference architectures within enterprise environments.
    • Experience developing or implementing AI-enabled solutions is highly desirable.
    • Experience working within telecommunications, consulting, or large enterprise environments is advantageous.

 

  • Knowledge
    • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and common frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
    • Familiarity with common security domains (e.g., network security, identity and access management, vulnerability management).
    • Awareness of secure development practices and interest in emerging technologies such as AI.
    • Knowledge developing AI solutions involving Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), intelligent agents, or conversational AI is advantageous.
    • Understanding of prompt engineering, semantic search, embeddings, and document processing techniques for enterprise AI applications is desired
