Group Digital Office - Senior Manager, Program Delivery Coach (Design Thinking Coach)

Summary:

The incumbent will drive and embed design thinking practices to ensure agile delivery teams across the business functions design the right solution and experience for both our customers and employees.  Key focus on training, mentoring and coaching teams in the use of design thinking tools as defined in our delivery model.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with leaders and stakeholders across the Group to drive innovation and transformation programs.  This includes leading customer / employee journeys projects and participate in key digital transformation agile projects as design lead where necessary
  • Assist in defining digital experience vision/guidelines, establishing frameworks and standards and ensure buy-in from different stakeholders across the organization
  • Drive deeper understanding of what good digital experience is and use data-driven methods to enhance customer and employees digital engagement
  • Stay abreast with trends and best practices and share knowledge with agile project teams
  • Strengthen the curriculum and deliver it, as a trainer, mentor and coach in a way that is easy and inspiring for new beginners to absorb and adopt

 

Requirements:

  • Min. University degree with Professional Training in Design Thinking / Human-Centre Design and possesses min. 3-4 years working experience in design thinking/human centred design.  This includes experience in design research methodologies including research planning, ethnographic field research and synthesising insights and research data into meaningful design opportunities and prototype for rapid iteration/user testing and/or conduct lean experimentation. Candidates with experience relating to behavioural change, consumer research, UX design or working experience as Design Lead (Customer Experience/User Experience) in digital transformation program will have an advantage.
  • Possesses 2-3 years of experience in training, mentoring and coaching project teams in design thinking.  This includes strong facilitation skills to conduct design workshops
  • Has proven working experiences in applying design thinking in an Agile work environment
  • Possesses good knowledge in Learn Experimentation and strong facilitation skills to conduct design workshops; candidates who have prior experience in UX/UI design will have added advantage
  • Solid communication skills - has strong ability to tell stories to inspire decision makers, communicate key messages visually with videos and graphics as well as able to coach teams on conveying such stories to get buy-in from sponsors
  • Has prior experience in creating and running outstanding user-centered digital services
