Singtel Group Environmental Sustainability is looking for a motivated sustainability professional who is passionate about driving real impact across the organisation.  In this role, you will lead and support Group-wide environmental sustainability initiatives across all operating companies (OpCos), with a focus on decarbonisation, ESG systems, and sustainability reporting.  You will collaborate closely with business units and external partners to advance the Group’s environmental commitments and ensure strong compliance with evolving sustainability standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Lead and Support Sustainability Initiatives

  • Drive the coordination of Group-wide Environmental Sustainability programmes and initiatives across all OpCos.
  • Take ownership of the Decarbonise pillar and provide support for the Defence pillar.
  • Partner with International Business Management to advance decarbonisation efforts across regional affiliates (RAs).
  • Coordinate and support the Deliver Sustainable Value pillar across OpCos.

 

ESG Systems and Reporting

  • Oversee the new ESG system, including managing transitions to new platforms or processes.
  • Collaborate with Group Finance on IFRS S2 reporting, Internal Carbon Pricing (ICP), and Sustainability-Linked Financing initiatives.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Group Property on Green Property initiatives and key asset improvement projects.

 

Committee and Secretariat Responsibilities

  • Serve as secretariat for the Energy Management Committee, ensuring effective coordination, documentation, and governance.

 

Offset Strategy and Supplier Engagement

  • Support the Group’s offset strategy, including Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and carbon credit management.
  • Facilitate Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) disclosures and supplier engagement activities to enhance environmental transparency and performance.

 

Learning and Development (L&D)

  • Curate and develop sustainability learning content for Group-wide Sustainability L&D programmes.

 

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:

  • A recognised degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in environmental sustainability, ESG reporting, or related fields, with a solid track record of driving sustainability initiatives.
  • Purpose-driven mindset with a strong passion for environmental sustainability and the motivation to create meaningful, positive impact for society.
  • Strong project management capabilities and proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in complex organisational environments.
  • Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and standards, including IFRS S2, CDP, carbon management, and energy management practices.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and present clearly across various levels of the organisation.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate sustainability trends and data into actionable insights and solutions.
