Lead a team of 6 (3 managers, 3 executives) to provide strategic, consumer-focused research insights to guide business decisions and drive revenue for all Cons SG lines of business and functions (Mobile Marketing & Sales, Home, Product Development, Digital Mobile, Marcoms & Sales, Home, Broadband etc.)



  • Engage with business units to understand business needs for consumer insights that can be met with in-house or agency-outsourced research.
  • To drive value-adding team performance to the entire research team by providing leadership and guidance in terms of technical expertise (market research methodology & principles), business acumen, stakeholder management, research agency management, and people management
  • Manage overall research budget and timelines.
  • Outsourced research projects: provide advice to stakeholders, design approach / structure, and work with agencies to deliver insights to meet business objectives, and present to stakeholders from working level up to CEO Cons SG.
  • Be responsible for the timely delivery of high-quality in-house research (customer call-outs) for mobile port-outs / port-ins and Broadband sign-ups & churn.
  • Oversee and manage the recruitment and engagement of the Singtel Digital Advisers research panel of savvy Singtel customers; management of the software platform, and deployment of research studies to the panel.
  • Oversee and manage the delivery of agency-outsourced AOP research studies for all product categories to identify key market trends, support Business Analytics market sizing, and support AOP initiatives.
  • Oversee the delivery of timely and high-quality internal analysis from research findings to address critical business questions, validate business assumptions, and provide insights and recommendations to all stakeholders.



  • Min. good degree in quantitative discipline such as Statistics or Marketing / Business
  • Consumer research agency experience; candidates with prior experience in consumer/telcommunications/marketing industry experience will have added advantage
  • People management experience
  • Strong statistics background
  • Ability to execute consumer research – range of methodologies e.g. door-to-door, CATI, street intercept, online, panel, focus groups
  • Familiarity with commonly-used research software
  • Strong verbal, written and Powerpoint presentation skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
