We are looking for a strategic and innovative Senior Manager, Talent Management & Diversity to lead and drive our strategic talent initiatives.  You will foster an environment of continual learning and development where potential is recognised and nurtured.  You will design and implement talent strategies and diversity initiatives that not only engage our talents but also help them thrive and contribute to both the company and the community. Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish the overall talent management strategies and frameworks to identify, prepare and position the right talent to drive organisational success. 
  • Liaise with senior business stakeholders and People & Culture Leaders to formulate and implement robust succession planning initiatives for leadership roles, ensuring future viability and alignment with business plans and direction. 
  • Lead the Talent Management team to partner People & Culture Leaders and 8 George Academy to formulate career development programmes that prepare our future leaders. 
  • Guide and advise senior business leaders and People & Culture Leaders in the management and communication of sensitive talent decisions.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance talent engagement, satisfaction, and retention, utilising data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Implement the organisation’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.
  • Build a high performing talent management team. 

 

The ideal candidate should have/be:

  • 8+ years of HR experience with a focus on talent management and organisational development, and at least 5 years leading a team.
  • Graduate qualification, and IHRP certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability in conceptualization.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and problem-solving, along with cognitive agility.
  • Confidence and effectiveness in relationship building and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to effectively convey ideas and engage stakeholders.
