This role will work as part of a team, to manage workplace planning and management, minor design activities to service various Business Units (BU) for their workplace-related requirements. The person will also support Group Property in other current and future projects.   

 

Make an Impact by:

 

  • Regular updating of BU neighbourhood plans to reflect any changes to the teams due to the re-orgs, or due to changes in the headcounts, etc.  Responsible for ensuring and updating the space management and utilisation software (Zoom/ Serraview or other software), tracking of workplace usage using technology and other workplace technology initiatives.

 

  • Assist the Workplace Lead and other team members in conducting studies to assess the efficiency, planning of the current and future workplace, change management and relocation of teams.   Review and generate regular status/management reports on the space usage metrics - e.g.  workplace utilisation and propose areas to further optimise and improve the workplace experience for Singtel staff.

 

  • Service & coordinate business units for their ongoing workplace requirements, and to work with the business unit to provide timely solutions to meet their workplace requirements.  Appoint consultants as needed.

 

  • Work with Consultants (e.g., interior designers, architects, and engineers), Contractors and Vendors to propose and implement workplace solutions to meet Singtel’s business needs. Work with GIT and other partners on workplace booking and meeting room applications and ensure that the workplace is at the front of digital technology.

 

  • Responsible for selecting the appropriate materials and finishes for each space, considering factors such as durability, aesthetics, and budget. Responsible for selecting and specifying the furniture and equipment required for each space, ensuring that it meets the user's needs and is within budget.

 

  • Responsible for formulating and reviewing the annual workplace charging formula and working with Finance, FISW, GIT and GPS to charge out the workplace costs to the BUs

 

Skills for Success: 

 

  • Diploma/Degree in interior design or a related field, Real Estate, Project/Business Management.
  • Min 7yrs of relevant work experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, database, and presentation software (e.g., MS Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; Service-mind set and providing solutions within a set framework; Good engagement/negotiation skills to liaise with the stakeholders; Logical and good in numbers; Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in corporate workplace design and implementation/ delivery of corporate workplace environments.
  • Knowledge of alternative workplace strategies and concepts.
