As Senior Manager, Roaming and VASes, you will lead the strategic development, commercial performance, and lifecycle management of Singtel's roaming and value-added services (VAS) portfolio for the postpaid business.
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, customer adoption, portfolio innovation, and in-base monetization across roaming products and VASes. You will shape the end-to-end strategy covering proposition design, pricing, go-to-market execution, partnership management, and base performance optimization. The role is pivotal in strengthening Singtel's competitiveness through differentiated customer value propositions, strong commercial outcomes, and agile response to evolving customer needs and market dynamics.

Roaming and VAS Portfolio Ownership
You will lead the full product and commercial strategy across roaming and VAS portfolios, with accountability for revenue growth, product performance, and customer lifecycle outcomes. This includes:
- Defining and executing portfolio strategies across roaming passes, subscriptions, travel-related connectivity services, and selected value-added services
- Owning product roadmap planning, pricing architecture, and portfolio optimization to improve commercial performance and customer relevance
- Driving revenue uplift through acquisition, upsell, cross-sell, recontracting, and in-base penetration strategies
- Developing differentiated value propositions tailored to key customer needs, travel patterns, usage behaviour, and segment opportunities
- Overseeing campaign planning and go-to-market execution across digital, retail, and assisted channels
- Monitoring portfolio performance, market trends, customer insights, and competitor moves to inform timely commercial actions
Base Management & Lifetime Value Optimization
You will work closely with Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) and relevant channel teams to develop and execute structured base management strategies that improve product adoption, customer engagement, and lifetime value across roaming and VAS portfolios. While retaining commercial accountability for portfolio performance, this role works in close collaboration with CLM and channel teams to ensure lifecycle initiatives are aligned to broader commercial and financial objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Co-developing lifecycle strategies covering onboarding, usage stimulation, renewal, retention, and win-back initiatives
- Partnering on in-base monetization programmes through targeted upsell, cross-sell, and personalized offers
- Driving proactive interventions to improve take-up, repeat usage, and revenue contribution of roaming and VAS products
- Aligning promotional intensity and commercial guardrails to balance growth ambition with margin discipline
- Collaborating on segmentation and personalization strategies to improve relevance, conversion, and long-term portfolio value
This partnership model ensures strong alignment between product strategy, customer engagement, and sustainable revenue growth across roaming and VAS portfolios.
Strategic Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Reporting to the Senior Director, Postpaid Marketing, you will operate at the intersection of product, commercial, partnership, and customer strategy.
You will collaborate closely with Digital, Retail, Network, Finance, Customer Lifecycle Management, Data & Analytics, and Partnership teams to:
- Shape and execute integrated growth strategies for roaming and VAS portfolios
- Deliver sustained revenue performance and stronger market differentiation
- Ensure customer propositions are commercially viable, operationally ready, and competitively positioned
- Champion a data-driven and customer-centric approach to innovation and execution
People Leadership & Team Development
You will lead a team supporting roaming and VAS portfolios, with responsibility for delivering strong business performance and building functional capability.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting clear goals and strategic direction aligned to business priorities
- Coaching and developing talent through structured feedback and capability building
- Building strong stakeholder alignment to ensure seamless cross-functional execution
- Fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
Skills for Success
- Bachelor Degree from recognized university
- At least 7-10 years of marketing, product, or commercial experience, preferably in Telco, Technology, Digital Services, or related industries
