As a Senior Network Engineer, you are responsible for developing and implementing network plans to support long-term growth across Fixed, Enterprise, and Mobile services. This role focuses on designing efficient solutions, managing network capacity, and leading capital planning for key programs.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and lead fibre network planning strategies to enable scalable national infrastructure growth across Consumer, Enterprise and Mobile services.
  • Design and coordinate fibre network solutions, supporting effective planning considerations and efficient build sequencing.
  • Manage capacity planning and commercial assessments to inform timely network upgrades and investment decisions.
  • Partner with engineering teams and key stakeholders to deliver resilient network outcomes, providing technical input, project oversight and external representation where required.

 

What You Bring

  • Expertise in fibre network design, including architecture, route planning, cable sizing, pit/splice placement, and technology selection.
  • Capacity planning and GIS proficiency, with experience using geospatial tools and automation suites (e.g., SpatialNet, FME) to ensure service resiliency and meet KPIs.
  • Strong analytical and capable of conducting cost-benefit analyses and design conflicts in a scalable, cost-effective manner.
  • Excellent stakeholder collaboration and communication, engaging internal teams and external partners while producing clear technical documentation.
  • Industry knowledge and leadership, with awareness of regulatory frameworks and experience mentoring contractors to maintain quality standards.
