Reporting to the Director (Cloud Product Management & Partnerships) the person in this position will have direct responsibility for the solutions; inclusive of strategy, roadmaps, innovation, product development, sales enablement, lifecycle management and customer experience for the Public Cloud Services.  The R&Rs include development of Solutions, managing partnerships, GTM strategy with Hyperscalers [AWS, Azure, Google Cloud], GTM, Capability & Practice development, business case development and joint GTM targets. The candidate will be the champion of joint solutions developing new and innovative capability to differentiate Singtel from our competitors to facilitate revenue growth and improve margins. She/he will also be an advocate internally and foster strong working relationship with Sales Specialists, Solutions Architects, Marketing as well as industry Partners to meeting practice objectives as set out in the Annual Operating Plan.

Main responsibilities:

•    Development of new Product and Service Offerings for public cloud including managed services and innovative SaaS/cloud-native solutions. 
•    Assessing and specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by visits to/ engagement with customers and non-customers.
•    Driving a solution set across development teams (primarily development/engineering, operations, and marketing) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.
•    Performing sourcing, tender, negotiations, and contracting process with external vendors for development of products.
•    Building business case, modelling, definition, proposals, and approval papers for new products.
•    Providing support to Product Specialist and Sales during customer engagement as the product expert.
•    Resolving business operational issues (communicating with different supporting functions internally and with external partners) and keeping aligned within the direction of business goal.
•    Developing or update price catalogue, sales kit, configuration tools, marketing materials, customer facing materials, product/ technical documents (GTM materials).
•    Managing and providing specification for configuration of business support system, e.g. billing and quotation tool systems, provisioning forms, etc (supported by IS/IT).
•    Conducting or arranging product training/briefing for customers and non-customers.
•    Keeping updated on market technology developments for regular review of product risk and roadmap.
•    Involving with UAT of products before production/launch.
•    Performing projection and monitoring of product revenue, cost, and P&L.
•    Reviewing SOWs, and contracts T&Cs (usually with Legal/Contract Managers / Tax / Finance / Risk / Procurement / Engineering / Suppliers).

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Minimum a Degree in Computing or Engineering
  • 7-10 years’ experience in business to business [B2B] product and solution management and experience in AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, SaaS products, consulting and product management. 
  • Good understanding of Kubernetes, Containers or Microservices, SDLC and product management. 

  • Experience in working in a large ICT organization  

  • Experience in DevOps, Infrastructure as a Code, AIOps is desirable 
  • 5+ years experience in product management and marketing with a focus on infrastructure software,  monitoring and ITSM tools, virtualization, hypervisor,  etc. desirable.  
  • Experience in product evaluation/assessment, best fit solution and making business case, business plans for new products. 
  • Product roadmap and enablement experience, and working with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, HR, presales, etc. 
  • Good commercial acumen, financial and operational judgment 
  • Ability to determine, priorities and articulate business requirements
  • Understanding of customer value principles and the ability to create customer and internal documentation to support    
  • Good market, competitive knowledge and insights
  • Experience in managing complex products/solutions and capability development projects        
  • Good communication skills and experience in dealing with all levels of an organisation & management    
  • Good organisational skills, and ability to manage a complex environment with minimal supervision
