Lead Infrastructure Engineer, Systems & DBA

The cloud architect will lead a team of engineers to work with technologies partner to design and build a Private cloud infrastructure to meet the operational, contractual and profitable platform


  • Working with both the product managers and the engineering/development team to design/ develop, and deliver the Cloud product roadmap
  •  Work on internal projects and customer opportunities
  • Projects will be generally delivered with Agile methodology, however still conforming to a level of ITIL and following Service management principles
  • Responsible designing, documenting and implementing product offerings and customer solutions. - Work closely with the operations and delivery teams to ensure and smooth transition into operations for ongoing BAU management. As well at times doing the initial run of new product offerings until they are transitioned into operations.
  • Help evaluate industry and partner technologies and look at their relevance for integration into the Cloud product roadmap
  • Define Integration Service management and process and approaches in line with the Singtel group R&D guidelines


The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Min Bachelor of Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • At least 5-8 years of relevant working experiences in cloud operations
  • Familiar with VMware, Cloud hosting, Network, Security infra, core cloud platform, automation, add-on services such as SFTP
  • Certifications in public cloud such as AWS, Azure and Google will be preferred Familiar with tools like Service Now, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, etc, and other open source tooling. Comfortable with deploying and using these tools. Understanding of compute, storage, and data center networking technologies and emerging trends in cloud computing, storage and networking Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies such as AWS, OpenStack, KVM, MySQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Hadoop, etc
