Role & Responsibilities:

 

You will be responsible for the overall design of application solution that meets the customer’s business environment and objectives to create unique value propositions to the customers. You are require to study and analyse the tender specifications or requirements and understand the customer requirements, plan. In addition, prepare and review the tender proposal write-up by the various teams especially with solution architect and product teams to ensure that the solutions can integrate and meet the requirements, as well as preparing business processes and compare them against alternative solutions proposed by standard software packages “best practice” approach.

You are require to prepare and review the cost, benefit and risk of multiple alternatives, at the same time work closely with the team on the tender clarifications. Ultimately, convince the customers and get their buy-in during the solution proposal presentation.

You will need to have strong Vendor / Internal Team Management skills to perform this role effectively. You are require to provide presales technical/functional support to sales teams in their engagement with prospective customers, as well as coordinate with the subject matter experts in various domains to ensure the solution fit the customer’s requirements. You will be involve in preparing and review on the delivery and integration of the proof of concept and pilot projects as well as to brief the delivery project team to ensure successful transition from presales to deployment. You are require to deliver enablement sessions to NCS presales to help articulate NCS’s service offerings and solutions and comparatively position with competitor’s solutions, at the same time develop and manage a group of individuals to be part of the focused competency community. This enhances NCS’s ability to support the growth expectations of the business, and continually build the image and success of the NCS brand

 

The ideal profile should have / be:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • Typically 6- 8 years’ experience with in-depth knowledge of business domain and software development and is in abreast with evolving technology capabilities
  • Preferably with 2-3 years’ experience in providing business solutions and/or pre-sales support,
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of current technologies, tools, methodologies and industry trends in the country
  • Certified in appropriate technologies is an added advantage
  • Analytical, self-driven and motivated to innovation and learning,
  • Strong verbal communication (including presentation) and written communication skills (in English)
  • Able to engage with senior management
  • A team player and with strong problem solving
  • Willing to travel whenever necessary
