We are looking for an MEC Developer with development experience in Amdocs Product Catalog configuration.

 

This role is accountable for the solutions in Product Catalog configuration and the delivery of configuration changes. The candidate is required to perform requirement gathering, solution design in MEC, development, test support, deployment and production support/Troubleshooting.

A core focus of the role will be to develop greater internal capability to architect innovative solutions while working with technology partners to execute the delivery these solutions. This role requires a strong ability to orchestrate outsourced delivery.

  • Ability to present and influence business stakeholders and vendors.
  • Evaluate and manage technical, business issues and risks and the associated complexity.
  • Develop greater internal capability to architect innovative solutions while working with technology partners to execute the delivery these solutions.
  • Good understanding of Billing and Customer Care business functions.
  • Good understanding of Applications Development and Delivery lifecycle as well as the enablement and convergence of Telecommunication Services.

 

Skills for Success

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, software or computer engineering fields or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant IT experience, preferably with Telco experience
  • Knowledge in BSS applications in the Telco industry highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge Amdocs CES applications is an added advantage.
  • Technical skill Oracle database admin, Agile development is an added advantage.
  • Experience in managing multiple business stakeholders and vendors
  • Strong understanding of architectural principles and industry standards
  • Detailed understanding of the end-to-end software life cycle, operational and support procedures and processes
