Senior Systems Engineer, Smart City

As a Senior System Engineer, the broad area of your job responsibilities will cover the following:

• Designs, plans, implements, tests and delivers Engineering systems used in many business industries in all spectrum.
• Contributes to the definition of system requirement, product, design specifications and collaborates with vendor/ supplier’s team throughout the system integration lifecycle.
• Leads high impact projects by prioritizing and assigning tasks
• Ensure that the team’s resources are used effectively and implemented in accordance with plans and within budgets.
• Identifies and resolves highly complex system issues that may require new techniques, tools and processes.
• Analyses and monitors the system performance resolution of technical problem, internal/ external business challenges/ regulatory issues and recommends improvement; if any.
• Able to standby with on call availability and varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Engage with back-line support and/or with vendor’s support to diagnose and rectification of technical problems.
• Provides technical leadership in project and manage team members by providing instruction, guidance and advice.
• Assist in day-to-day operations of the System Delivery team.
• Displays good problem-solving skills with an analytical approach to solutions development and implementation.
• Possesses high standards and communicates effectively with customer, key stakeholders and management.
• Carry out other technical related duties that may be required.
