As a Senior Data Engineer, you are responsible for design, build, and maintain systems that enable the collection, storage, and processing of large volumes of data for analysis and application use.

 

What you will do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD processes to ensure smooth deployments.
  • Optimize Snowflake database performance and ensure efficient data storage.
  • Utilize Azure Data Factory and the MS Fabric stack for data integration and orchestration.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and support.
  • Write and maintain detailed technical documentation for data processes and architecture.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data engineering and integration.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.

 

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Expertise in Snowflake database development.
  • Proficient in Azure Data Factory and the MS Fabric stack.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
  • Strong background in advanced data integration and engineering.
  • Proven ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Experience with multiple cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
