NCS Innovation Hub


The NCS Innovation Hub in Singapore plays a critical role in accelerating NCS’s growth strategy, by driving innovation to unlock business value for clients. We are a small but impactful, amazing and crazy team, which focuses on helping our clients in their innovation journey.


The Innovation Hub brings NCS’s strong capabilities to life, coupled by deep research into future trends, co-creating with clients, helping them in their Discovery & Design innovation journeys and creating prototypes that allow for agile iteration.


The Role


The Innovation Research Consultant reports to the Innovation Research & Ecosystem Partnership Lead.

The candidate will have a keen focus on technology research and analysis, as well as ability to see technology trends, to enhance NCS’s voice and opinions, to position NCS as the go-to technology services firm in Asia Pacific.


The Innovation Research Consultant performs the roles including but not limited to:

  • Identify areas of research topics with the team
  • Keep abreast of technology and industry trends and developments
  • Conduct research to understand the various and fast changing technology and industry trends
  • Working with external analysts to get their views
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their views
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders and Innovation Hub team to create NCS’s Points of View on the various technology and industry trends
  • Drafting and creating of whitepapers
  • Ability to create infographics and power point slides will be a bonus
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to have the various content published on various digital channels to create more awareness for NCS as a thought leader
  • Being the Innovation Research voice, to share these research reports with relevant stakeholders to value add to their work in client pitch, RFPs, startup scouting, etc.




The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • At least 5 years' of experience in Technology Research and Analysis
  • Must possess a sense of intellectual curiosity
  • Strong ability to write and analyse
  • Passionate about Technology
  • Foreword looking on Technology and Industry trends
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders
  • Able to be independent and resourceful
  • Able to work across different layers and functions of the organisation and ecosystem partners
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-matrix, diverse, and multicultural environment
  • Able to multi-task and stay organised
  • Able to work within tight timelines
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Software
  • Experience in sharing research trends via digital channels as well as onsite at events
