Software Developer

Jobscope: 

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Understand stakeholder requirements and translate into development tasks.
• Leverage existing technical architecture and infrastructure to develop solution
• Perform data analysis in Tableau, Pandas and Excel
• Build and deploy ETL pipelines to clean and transform data
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Write and test effective APIs to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Write technical documentation
• Maintain existing codebase and pipeline

The Ideal Candidate should possess the following: 

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology 
• 5 years of working experience with proven good track records in the digital space     
• Proficient with Python and the use of relevant modules (eg. Pandas, Flask)
• Experience with DevOps/SRE, Big Data frameworks (Hadoop, PySpark), RESTful APIs, micro-service architecture, SQL and NoSQL database,unit testing and regression testing, application security and compliance
• Experience with Tableau, Airflow, designing for automation using provisioning tools (Docker, Chef) , Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred
• Strong track record and portfolio of previous work across a variety of industries
• Strong written and verbal communication skills 
• Confident, self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-moving environment
