We are seeking a Solutions Manager with deep expertise in telecommunication solutions, SDWAN, and digital transformation to drive technical solutioning for enterprises clients. This role is pivotal in engaging new business opportunities while transforming existing enterprise networks into agile, digitally managed infrastructures. As a key contributor, you will bridge business and technology by designing innovative solutions aligned with customers' transformation journeys, working closely with sales, delivery, and product teams.

 

 

Make an Impact by:

 

 

  • Customer Engagement & Pre-Sales Support:
    • Act as the primary trusted technical advisor on pre-sales matters, engaging proactively with customers to ensure alignment with their networking and communications needs.
    • Collaborate closely with Sales/Account Managers in face-to-face meetings, providing pre-sales technical support to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
    • Partner with system integrators and strategic technology partners to design and implement end-to-end network solutions.

 

  • Solution Architecture & Design:
    • Develop cost-effective, resilient and reliable ICT solutions that meet customer requirements and position Singtel as the preferred partner for WAN/SDWAN and managed services.
    • Translate business needs into network architecture designs that support customers’ LAN/WAN transformation and digital journeys.

 

  • Technical Expertise:
    • In-depth knowledge of edge-to-cloud networking technologies, including SDWAN, SASE/SSE, cloud access, WAN/LAN networks, uCPE, VNF and IoT networks.
    • Subject Matter Expert in network design and architecture with the ability to assess current network states, envision future states and define transformation paths

 

  • Digital Evangelism & Transformation Leadership:
    • A digital evangelist with a passion for future technologies. Able to engage customers on emerging trends, leveraging Singtel’s digital initiatives to unlock new opportunities.
    • Conduct Proof-of-Concept (POC) projects to showcase the value of software-defined networking (SDN) and strengthen customer confidence.

 

  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Comfortable working across regions with peers from India and Singapore, engaging with diverse teams from sales, pre-sales, product and delivery.
    • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring continuous feedback through win/loss analysis to drive ongoing improvements.

 

Skills for Success:

 

  • Candidates must hold a Degree in Telecommunications/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Science or equivalent qualifications with at least 6-10 years’ experience in a technical position in the Communications/Network or Information Technology related industry
  • Certifications:
    • CCNA certification required.
    • Preferred Certifications: CCNP/CCIP, SDWAN, Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
    • ITIL certification as well as experience in IT such as Messaging and collaboration, security, servers, backup solutions will also be an added advantage
  • Technical Skills and Expertise:
    • Strong knowledge of key telecom and ICT solutions below, with ability to assess gain deeper understanding of customer solutions.
    • SASE (e.g., Zscaler, Palo Alto) • SD-WAN platforms (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Silverpeak) • Virtual Network Functions as a Service (VNFaaS)
    • WAN connectivity (e.g. MPLS, Internet-based networks)
    • SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) for voice communications
    • SaaS and Public Cloud access strategies
    • Wireless and 5G technologies for next-gen networks
    • Understanding of Network as a Service (NaaS) and Software-Defined Cloud Connectivity solutions.
    • Familiarity with IT/OT convergence in industrial environments

  • Possess good customer handling and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions.
  • Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate and communicate effectively with customers, peers and internal stakeholders.
  • Domestic and international travel is required (e.g., Sales Kick-Off, Singapore Kick-Off, Customer Engagements).
