Make an Impact by:
The Solutions Manager plays a pivotal role in driving technical solution design and digital transformation initiatives to support Singtel’s enterprise business in Singapore.
- Lead pre-sales technical engagement with customers to understand their business objectives, digital transformation roadmap, and technical requirements.
- Design and propose end-to-end ICT and network solutions (SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, 5G, cybersecurity, managed services) that enable customers’ digital journeys.
- Support Sales and Account Managers by translating business needs into scalable technical architectures, collaborating closely with internal engineering teams and external System Integrators.
- Drive digital transformation discussions with customers — including modernization of legacy infrastructure, as a service adoption, automation, and analytics adoption to enhance business agility and performance.
- Provide responsive post-sales technical support, including service provisioning, troubleshooting, and escalation management with local service providers and technology partners.
Job Functions
- Deliver high-quality pre-sales consultation and develop innovative, resilient, and cost-effective digital and network solutions to win proposals and tenders.
- Conduct digital assessments of customers’ ICT environments and recommend transformation strategies to improve operational efficiency, security, and scalability.
- Design and optimize SD-WAN, MPLS/IP WAN, hybrid cloud, and SASE architectures to support enterprise connectivity and zero-trust frameworks.
- Continuously review and analyze customers’ network performance, proactively proposing enhancements and digital modernization opportunities (e.g., automation, AI-driven analytics, NaaS adoption).
- Provide technical enablement and thought leadership to account teams on emerging technologies and digital trends.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, solution proposals, and technology demonstrations that communicate Singtel’s value proposition in digital transformation.
- Ensure quality documentation of customer network configurations, change processes, and digital solution roadmaps.
- Support project delivery teams during implementation and provide post-sales consultation to ensure seamless handover and customer satisfaction.
Skills for Success:
- Degree or Diploma in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical or pre-sales role within the Communications, Networking, or Information Technology industry.
- Knowledge of digital transformation technologies such as cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), cybersecurity, automation/orchestration, and data analytics is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies — SD-WAN, MPLS, Internet, 5G/wireless, and enterprise networking solutions.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders on technical and strategic topics.
- Strong analytical thinking, customer-centric mindset, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment.
