The Staff Technology Delivery Architect serves as a two‑hat entity, combining the responsibilities of a Design Authority for large‑scale network initiatives and a delivery & operations enabler supporting implementation, migration, and steady‑state operations.
This role works across technical, delivery, and operations teams to ensure solutions are architecturally sound, operationally viable, and efficiently delivered.
Design Authority – Responsibilities & Accountability
- Acts as Design Authority, responsible and accountable for the end‑to‑end architecture and design of large‑scale enterprise projects.
- Leads design for complex environments including:
- Campus LAN (wired and wireless)
- Large‑scale Wi‑Fi deployments (1000+ APs)
- Multi‑firewall and multi‑switch architectures
- Core, ACI, and data center network designs
- Owns design standards, architecture decisions, and technical governance across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Ensures designs are scalable, secure, operationally supportable, and aligned with business and delivery objectives.
- Manages and oversees multiple network and connectivity product portfolios, ensuring consistency across solutions.
Product Gate Reviews:
-Ensure that all necessary technical documentation, deliverables, are define and can be supported both by Implementation and Operations team.
-Ensure that both Day 1 and Day 2 delivery teams are fully capable of supporting the new product, both technically and operationally, providing ongoing support maintenance and lifecycle.
-Review existing processes to identify any areas that need adjustment or improvement, ensuring the new product's processes are optimized and seamlessly integrated.
-Facilitate workshops and meetings to discuss process improvements and gather feedback from internal stakeholders.
Technical Escalation Tier3
Be a focal point for the customer’s operational and technical needs and become a trusted advisor with customers by deeply understanding their network and aligning their needs with Singtel solutions.
Act as a customer advocate internally while effectively collaborating with internal teams including Technical Assistance Center, product management, engineering, pre-sales and quality management.
Engage directly with customers to explain technical issues, provide detailed solutions, and deliver comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports.
Maintain clear and effective communication with customers, ensuring they are informed and satisfied with the technical support provided.
Advanced Support and Troubleshooting:
Mandatory experience leading or supporting SD‑WAN and Internet‑to‑MPLS migration projects.
Strong hands‑on technical skills with emphasis on:
- SD‑WAN architectures
- MPLS, TCP/IP, routing and switching
- Network security and firewall integrations Proven experience working in multi‑vendor environments, including LAN switches, core networks, ACI, and enterprise firewalls.
Strong expertise in Campus LAN, Wi‑Fi design, and network automation.
Excellent troubleshooting capabilities with a strong passion for diving into complex real‑world production issues.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design Authority, responsible and accountable for the end‑to‑end design of large‑scale network and infrastructure projects, including Campus LAN, large Wi‑Fi deployments, multi‑firewall environments, and complex switching architectures.
- Owns architectural decisions, design standards, and technical governance across multiple concurrent enterprise initiatives.
- Manages and oversees multiple product portfolios, ensuring consistency, scalability, security, and operational readiness.
Technical Experience & Expertise
- Proven experience delivering large‑scale Campus LAN and Wi‑Fi solutions, including 1000+ access point deployments.
- Strong background working in multi‑vendor environments, covering LAN switches, core networks, ACI, and enterprise firewalls.
- Hands‑on experience leading SD‑WAN and Internet‑to‑MPLS migration projects (mandatory requirement).
- Deep technical knowledge of SD‑WAN, MPLS, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security.
- Strong expertise in campus LAN, Wi‑Fi architecture, and network automation.
- Extensive experience supporting and delivering cloud migration initiatives across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Huawei Cloud.
- Experience working with Cloud and SaaS technology providers is a strong advantage.
Architecture, Design & Documentation
- Skilled in creating detailed network designs, process flows, and technical architecture diagrams to clearly represent business processes, workflows, and system interactions.
- Strong proficiency in flow‑charting and design tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, and other process modeling platforms.
- Solid understanding of Business Process Management (BPM) principles and methodologies, and their application in technical architecture.
Operational & Troubleshooting Skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a strong passion for resolving complex issues in live production environments.
- Comfortable working under pressure on critical systems while maintaining service stability and performance.
Collaboration & Professional Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer‑focused mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven experience collaborating with globally distributed, cross‑cultural teams.
- Highly adaptable, proactive, and able to work effectively across engineering, delivery, and customer‑facing teams.
Primarily office-based and able to support oncall rotation escalation.
Can work on weekends, nightshifts and public Holidays.
