We’re searching for a Service Delivery Executive (Data Analytics) to be part of our diverse team of talent here at NCS!

 

Overview

As a Software Business Analyst acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that software solutions align with business goals. They analyze business needs, define system requirements, and collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers to deliver effective software solutions

 

What will you do ?

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
    • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
    • Elicit, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Conduct gap analysis to identify areas of improvement in existing systems.
  2. Process & Solution Design
    • Analyze and document business processes using diagrams, flowcharts, and models.
    • Define system workflows, wireframes, and user journeys.
    • Propose innovative solutions to enhance software performance and usability.
  3. Stakeholder Communication
    • Act as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors.
    • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and presentations to gather feedback and align expectations.
  4. Software Development Support
    • Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
    • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning and backlog grooming.
  5. Testing & Quality Assurance
    • Assist in defining test cases and validating software functionality.
    • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and address any identified issues.
  6. Documentation & Reporting
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), and User Stories.
    • Provide insights and reports on project progress, risks, and business impact.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and basic programming concepts.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze business problems and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interactions.
  • Tools & Technologies: Experience with tools like ServiceNow, Confluence, Microsoft Suite (Powerpoint, Excel, etc)
