What will your typical day look like?


Procurement Systems Owner

  • Assume business ownership of Procurement systems in both operational management and strategic development of Procurement systems’ effectiveness, reliability and performance
  • Work closely with IT application owners to maintain and enhance key functionalities of Procurement systems including but not limited to master data, user access management, contract/sourcing project template maintenance etc.
  • Establish and maintain key system support processes such as user access control, data security measures etc in compliant with relevant Group IT and Data security policies.
  • Provide Level 2 support to user system queries.
  • Support Singtel competitive bidding events in system configuration and support troubleshooting of user and supplier participation issues.
  • Develop, deliver and maintain Procurement system user and supplier training curriculum.
  • Conduct supplier e-Auction trainings and support system administration of e-Auction events.
  • This role is expected to assume operational Sourcing and Contract project creation and maintenance support responsibilities in order to acquire deep working knowledge of Procurement systems, policies and processes.
  • Support the Singtel Group Enterprise stakeholders in the buy-to-sell systems queries and training


Procurement System Enhancement and Process Automation

  • Identify and fix operational process and system gaps through System Change Requests (CR) implementation.
  • Work closely with external system provider, IT application and Procurement teams to develop and implement system enhancements solution to address gaps in Procurement policies and processes and to be compliant to Corporate IT Application and Data/Information Security policies.
  • Lead or support transformational Procurement systems system project implementation.
  • Drive digitization and process automation by deploying automation tools such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Microsoft Power Automation.
  • Be Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trusted advisor in identifying and deployment of latest market/industry trend or best practices in Procurement systems.
  • Support all system UAT
  • Prepare the user training guides


Is this you?


  • Relevant Degree or Diploma in Business or IT
  • Min 3 years of relevant working experience in operational support or management of Procurement systems for Degree Holders /  Min 5 years for Diploma Holders
  • Has prior experience in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Familiar with Ariba, Coupa, Zycus, Tradeshift, SAP ERP (Purchasing or Materials Management module) or equivalent Source-to-Contract (S2C) or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
  • Has Project Management experience
  • Issues Identification and Root Cause Analysis
  • Adept in using systems and technologies
  • Ability to conduct trainings for external suppliers
  • Effective communication skill with stakeholders and senior management
  • Good writing/ documentation skills
