System Engineer (SCCM)

As a System Engineer (SCCM), you are responsible for the system design, implementation, testing, managing and maintenance of proposed system.
 

What you will do:

• Administrate MS SCCM Server
• Deploy MS patch and application via MS SCCM
• Support Service Request, Incident and change request
• Testing MS patch on client machine
• Patch MS SCCM server
• Scripting using power shell
• Troubleshoot any issue face upon patch or application deployment
• Server Management. Administer servers, middleware and installation of OS and software. Strong technical competency on Windows and Unix/Linux OS administration is mandatory.
• Work with customer-appointed vendor and Tenant Facility management team in carrying out service requests on the GeBIZ systems hosted in Government Data Centre. Eg raise SR into ITSM portal for Wintel, network, unix and database and liaise with FM and internal requestor for completion and verification. Need to support weekly application code deployment every Tuesday and Thursday.
• Perform administration and troubleshooting of office’s application systems and provide daily operation support to the application users.
• Escalate and manage any fault escalation to contractor for equipment failure.
   

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Diploma / Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
• 1 - 3 years of relevant IT experience.
• 1 – 3 years of hands-on experience in Infrastructure System server
• Hands-on experience in MS SCCM
• Proven experience in system design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
