We are seeking a candidate who is passionate in Radio Frequency or LTE engineer to be part of our Radio Access Network (RAN) Engineer team.

 

What we seek to accomplish together: 

  • Perform radio network planning and design the best quality 4G and in future 5G network
  • Conduct site survey for 4G and in future 5G sites, and drive test to meet coverage requirements
  • Perform radio network performance monitoring and optimization to ensure all radio related KPIs are constantly met
  • Liaise with deployment team to ensure solution is being deployed in a timely manner
  • Knowledge/ experience of planning base-station equipment layout, utilities requirement, electrical SLD, DB Boxes, base-station C-Channel Plinth layout, outdoor antenna pole etc.
  • Knowledge/ experience in RF acceptance testing, data collection using Test tool for both indoor and outdoor RF coverage measurements, Nemo post-processing to analyzing in-building quality audit report and acceptance testing with customers. Defining problem area, antenna adjustment, system parameter and handoff ratio, cell coverage verification, and propose coverage enhancement plan.
  • Support customer project to perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and optimization for 4G and in future 5G in-building projects
  • Responsible for project delivery and to maximize customer satisfaction throughout the entire project cycle
  • Work closely with sub-contractor to ensure work quality & timely delivery
  • Ensure proper documentation and corporate processes are adhered to
  • Provide all necessary reports to customers and management

 

A little about you: 

  • Diploma/ Degree or equivalent with at least 2 years relevant experience in the mobile wireless industry
  • Hands on skills in network design or optimization tools, e.g, Atoll, iBwave, NEMO Outdoor and NEMO Analyzer or other relevant tools
  • Strong technical knowledge in 4G radio technology and RF design will be an added advantage
  • Possess a Class 3 driving license is a plus
  • Strong team player to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Positive work attitude, self-motivated, creative and resourceful with a customer first mind set
  • Independent, hardworking and able to work under pressure
  • Able to handle emergency situations outside of normal work hours when required
  • Able to work shifts
