Systems Engineer, C4+AI

Responsibility:

1. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Candidate will be on 24x7hr standby duty.
2. Automate and build up scalable systems/environment using Kubernetes
3. Setup and maintain CI/CD, automated testing, development and delivery environments
4. Writing scripts/programs for service monitoring and health check of systems
5. Day-to-day monitoring, backup, deployment and maintenance of systems
6. Mentoring juniors on setup, deployment and maintenance
7. Troubleshoot issues on systems
8. Provide operating guidance, training and troubleshooting documents to internal and external parties.
9. Provide technical insights for the design and implementation of solutions.
10. Automate and maintain orchestration of cloud platforms in software defined data centres
11. Perform hardening on systems and ensure the system is compliance to hardening requirement
12. Fine tuning of overall system performance and managing large clusters of servers

The ideal candidate should possess:

1. Position needs experience in programming and scripting, at the same time have good understanding of servers, storage and network
2. Position needs to understand a wide variety of virtualization and cloud orchestration technologies
3. Position needs to be experienced in fine tuning system performance on all aspects that various systems may use.
4. Position needs to be able to keep up with the constant changes in security standards and fully automate processes while adhering to the standards
5. Position needs to have good articulation and documentation skills to guide teams in ensuring no missing gaps in setup, deployment, maintenance, automation and any security loop holes
6. Position need to have good troubleshooting skills to be able identify the root cause of any issue
