Systems Engineer, Smart City

Responsibilities: 
 

• Responsible for the system design, implementation, testing, managing and maintenance of proposed system, in the domain of integrated security system including but not limited to security management system, CCTV with Video Analytics, Intercom, PA, etc.
• Responsible for daily maintenance activities include preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and off office hours standby duty.
• Good knowledge and hands on skills in troubleshooting on Integrated Security System in software and hardware such as
  • Bosch Security Management System (SMS)
  • Bosch Access Control System (ACS)
  • Bosch Video Management System (VMS)
  • Analogue and IP CCTV system
  • Avaya IP and analogue audio Intercom Communication System (ICS)
  • Bosch Public Address System (PA)
  • Bosch Intrusion and Duress alarm system
  • Metal Walk Thru Detection System
  • Perimeter Protection System (PPS) 
• Work closely with Team Leader to meet service delivery level agreement
• Provide technical documentation support to Project & Solutions Teams, as well as hand over as-built system documentation to Maintenance support team
• Engage with back-line support and/or with vendor’s support to diagnose and rectify technical problems.
• Supervise and manage vendor in support for the preventive and corrective maintenance works.
• Capable to read and understand technical documentation, installation manual, as-built system drawing etc
• Capable to support in budgetary quotation for new and additional devices and system installation.
• Able to work independently without supervision and demonstrate good communication skills to take on new service requests dealing with customers.
• Assist in day-to-day operation to ensure System Availability and Reliability meets customer requirement.
• Carry out other technical related duties that may be required

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Diploma/ Degree in Information Technology, Electrical / Electronic, Information Systems or equivalent discipline
• 3-10 years of relevant experience in hardware devices, server administration and troubleshooting
