Systems Engineer (AV Engineer)

As a Systems Engineer (AV Systems), you will be responsible for the managing and implementing of large-scale AV projects with quality, within scope and to ensure deliverables are on time and conform to processes and standards meeting customer’s requirements. 

What will you do? 
• Perform onsite fault diagnosis and coordinate and liaise with product suppliers to resolve technical product issues related to video conferencing and audio-visual integrated  solutions
• Perform L1, L2 & L3 onsite and offsite information technology, audio-visual integrated solution  and video conferencing troubleshooting and liaise with manufacturer for return merchandise authorizations (RMA).
• Update the respective stakeholder on the troubleshooting status, preparation of setting up a event, conference meeting and etc 
• Support pre-sale work such as conduct Site Survey, prepare Bill of Material (BOM), Diagram and etc
• Escalate technical issues to the internal team and/or escalate to the manufacturer when the complexity of issue’s exceed the team capacity. 
• Setup and support Audio Visual & Video Conference System and work with respective stakeholder for event, meeting and conference. 
• Prepare and submit the necessary document and manual such as Preventive Maintenance 
• Checklist, Bill of Material (BOM), User Acceptance Test (UAT), Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), 
• Functional Design Specification (FDS), etc
• Prepare and submit the necessary document such as Service Report, Monthly Report, Inventory report and etc 
• Provide 24/7 on-site & off-site standby accordingly to SL
 
The ideal candidate should possess: 
• ITE or Diploma in Engineering/ IT / Computer Science
• At least 2 years of relevant experience 
• Good Written and verbal communication skills 
• Experience with at least two system/manufacturer such as Extron AV, Kramer AV, Crestron AV, Cisco collaboration, Cisco Switches, Server, Virtual Machine (VM), etc
• Basic knowledge of Information Technology (IT) (e.g computer, server switches, etc) 
• Basic knowledge of video equipment (e.g Television, Projector, etc), video cables and  connectors (e.g HDMI Cable, VGA cable, SDI cable, etc)
