This is a technical role for Regulatory Systems, requiring a high level of technical capability. You will be a coder at heart, with experience working in a full stack development role, covering layers 1 to 7. The primary accountabilities include, but are not limited to, data science, architecture, application development, integration, and the ongoing tuning/maintenance of regulatory capabilities. System design and hands-on experience is required.

  • Design, develop and maintain regulatory systems to ingest large data from varied sources and automate search queries against the large dataset, as such strong Data Science experience is a must.
  • Perform multidimensional (Slice and Dice) analysis of large datasets.
  • Demonstrating your expert level Linux system engineering and administration is a must to succeed.
  • Coordinate activities with vendors if required.
  • Integrate regulatory systems with Optus network and IT platforms.
  • Support existing regulatory systems.

It starts with you!

  • Strong background in data science and understanding of data store technologies such as: Relational DBMS (e.g. Postgres), Elasticsearch, Redis, RabbitMQ, MongoDB
  • Expert level Linux systems engineering, administration, and Security.
  • Due to the requirements of the role we are only open to Australian Citizens, who are willing to obtain Security Clearance
  • Strong API Design and Development
  • Expert level Python Application development.
  • Strong understanding of Core Internet technologies and protocols including HTTP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP
