We are looking for Team Leader for our Business Segment Sales. The successful candidate is responsible for driving strategic revenue growth, leading high-performing enterprise sales teams, and managing key customer relationships across Singtel’s Business Segment portfolio.

This role leads the development and execution of enterprise sales strategies covering Telecommunications, ICT, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Managed Services, Connectivity, Digital Transformation, and Emerging Technology solutions for SME, Mid-Market, Large Enterprise, and Government customers.

 

Make an impact by: 

 

Sales Leadership & Business Growth

  • Lead and manage a team of Account managers to achieve annual revenue, profitability, and strategic growth objectives.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with Singtel Business Segment business priorities and enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Drive new business acquisition, customer retention, and account expansion across enterprise and strategic customer portfolios.
  • Establish and execute market penetration strategies to strengthen Singtel’s market leadership position.
  • Drive achievement of sales KPIs, pipeline growth, forecasting accuracy, and business performance targets.
  • Oversee sales governance processes including pipeline reviews, forecasting, business planning, and performance management.

 

Strategic Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite executives, business leaders, and key stakeholders across enterprise accounts.
  • Lead strategic account planning and customer engagement initiatives to maximise customer value and long-term partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and solution expansion across Singtel’s enterprise service portfolios.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, service excellence, and customer retention.
  • Manage escalations and complex enterprise customer engagements effectively.

 

Enterprise Solution Selling

  • Lead complex enterprise solution sales involving:
    • Cloud Solutions
    • Cybersecurity Services
    • Managed ICT Services
    • Connectivity & Mobility Solutions
    • SD-WAN & SASE Solutions
    • Unified Communications
    • Data Centre & Hosting Services
    • IoT & Digital Transformation Solutions
  • Work closely with Solution Architects, Product Teams, Technical Consultants, and Operations teams to develop integrated customer solutions.
  • Lead enterprise tenders, RFPs, contract negotiations, pricing approvals, and commercial discussions.
  • Ensure enterprise solutions align with customer business objectives and digital transformation roadmaps.

 

 

Team Leadership & People Development

  • Build, lead, mentor, and develop high-performing enterprise sales teams.
  • Drive a strong sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration, customer-centricity, and performance excellence.
  • Conduct regular coaching, sales reviews, and capability development sessions.
  • Identify succession planning and leadership development opportunities within the sales organisation.
  • Foster employee engagement and talent retention across the business unit.

 

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Delivery, Operations, and Engineering teams.
  • Drive alignment between business objectives, customer requirements, and operational delivery.
  • Build strategic partnerships with technology principals, cloud providers, cybersecurity vendors, and ecosystem partners.
  • Participate in executive business reviews, leadership meetings, and strategic planning discussions.

 

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Singtel governance policies, operational standards, commercial controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage business risks, commercial approvals, and contract governance processes.
  • Ensure accurate reporting, forecasting, and documentation standards.

 

 

Skills for Success:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualifications preferred.
  • Experience in Enterprise Sales, ICT Sales, Telecommunications, or Technology Solution Selling.
  • Leadership experience managing sales teams and strategic customer portfolios.
  • Strong track record in achieving revenue growth and business performance targets.
  • Experience managing large-scale enterprise ICT and digital transformation engagements.
  • Strong exposure to cloud, cybersecurity, managed services, and enterprise technology solutions.
  • Experience working within telecommunications, ICT, or technology service provider environments preferred.
