Responsibilities:

  • Work proactively with Associate Director, On-Air Promotion, to develop and devise creative solutions for key promotable.
  • The Producer will plan, develop, and execute several key campaigns and approaches for Sports channels, CAST, Marketing (TV, Fibre & Mobile) genres and Corporate Videos. 
  • Strategy and Concept: Assist in defining the overall strategy and concepts for projects commissioned.
  • Work within the budget issued, including resource management and the contracting of resource personnel - working closely with the team’s Production Manager.
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal / external clients and partners. 
  • Sound creative judgment with a keen interest in current media trends.
  • Maintain existing relationships with external Service Providers / Vendors – such as freelance producers designers and keep a look out for new offsite talent (e.g. designers).
  • Excellent editing, script writing and organisational skills.
  • Produce, lead and direct event / campaign on-location shoots for the channel, marketing and ad sales teams.
  • Ability to edit with most common non-linear systems such as Final Cut Pro, Avid and Adobe Premiere Pro.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma holder
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in an On-Air Promo environment
  • Up to date with the latest software/hardware for editing and broadcast.
  • Good project management skills to see end-to-end delivery of promos.
  • Able to build a good and strong rapport with external vendors for promo shoots or branding exercises.
  • Strategic thinker; able to control and pre-plan yearly production budgets.
  • Able to work irregular hours, including weekends & public holidays if required.
  • Should possess strong writing and presentation skills 
  • Good team player and able to work under pressure.
