We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Engineer (Intergrated Communication Systems) to coordinate and work on site activities in Rail station and depot. As an engineer in our Integrated Communications Systems department, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, integration, testing, and commissioning of key systems such as Public Announcing (PA), Video Surveillance (VSS), and Access Management Systems (AMS) for Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) communication projects. This role also includes system migration tasks. You will collaborate with suppliers, subcontractors, and an internal team of talented engineers to ensure successful project completion.

What we seek to accomplish together: 

• Project Analysis, Design, and Implementation: Analyze project requirements for various integrated comms systems like PA, VSS, and AMS. Design and implement solutions using state-of-the-art technology products, ensuring alignment with client specifications and needs.
• System Integration: Oversee the integration of new systems with existing infrastructure, ensuring compatibility, functionality, and performance.
• Testing and Commissioning: Oversee and participate in comprehensive testing protocols to ensure system functionality and reliability. Lead system commissioning processes to validate and accept project installations.
• System Migration: Manage system migration tasks as part of project completion, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption.
• Supplier and Subcontractor Management: Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and/or subcontractors, ensuring the delivery of reliable products with strong performance records.
• Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of engineers in system integration, interfacing, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and warranty support for rail communication projects.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work independently and effectively with various vendors and contractors, driving collaboration and shared success across teams.

A little about you

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electronics and Communications Systems Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in implementing integrated communication systems in a rail environment.
• Deep technical expertise in at least one of the following systems: PA, VSS, or AMS.
• Proven track record of managing large integrated comms system projects in a rail environment, including successful system integrations and migrations.
• Hands-on experience in MRT/LRT environments and in the system implementation process.
• Ability to work independently and drive collaborations with various vendors and contractors.
