Trend Micro System Engineer

In the role of a TrendMicro Engineer, you will be instrumental in overseeing and enhancing our IT security posture and operational efficiency. With a focus on the suite of TrendMicro products, including Apex One, IMSVA, IWSVA, Server Protect, Email Security, Cloud App Security, and integration with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), as well as leveraging Trend Micro DDAN, Control Manager, and Apex Central for comprehensive threat intelligence and centralized management, you will ensure the customer’s IT infrastructure is secure, reliable, and optimized for performance post-deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Expertise and Implementation: Serve as the subject matter expert on TrendMicro and MDT products. Implement, configure, and manage TrendMicro Apex One, IMSVA, IWSVA, Server Protect, Email Security, Cloud App Security, and integrate security measures with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit for seamless IT operations.
• Continuous Monitoring and Maintenance: Utilize Trend Micro Control Manager and Apex Central for ongoing surveillance of IT environments, ensuring systems are running efficiently and securely. Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and patches to safeguard against vulnerabilities.
• Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Lead the response to cybersecurity threats and system issues using Trend Micro DDAN for deep discovery and analysis. Provide rapid resolution to minimize downtime and operational impact.
• Security Policy and Compliance Management: Develop and enforce security policies across all IT systems. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal guidelines, leveraging TrendMicro solutions for data protection and threat prevention.
• Reporting and Analytics: Generate detailed reports on security incidents, system performance, and compliance status using TrendMicro's comprehensive analytics tools. Offer insights and recommendations for system improvements and risk mitigation.
• Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to support secure and efficient system operations. Provide training and guidance on TrendMicro product features, security best practices, and system usage.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in IT operations or cybersecurity, with specific expertise in TrendMicro products and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit.
• Proven ability to configure, manage, and troubleshoot TrendMicro Apex One, IMSVA, IWSVA, Server Protect, Email Security, Cloud App Security, and familiarity with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
• Experience with Trend Micro DDAN, Control Manager, and Apex Central for security management and operations.
• Strong analytical skills and experience in incident response and system maintenance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Relevant certifications in cybersecurity and TrendMicro products are preferred.
