As Singtel GE embarks on an exciting Digital Transformation journey, we aim to create better products, build better customer experiences and identify new market segments we can grow our revenue with. This role of a UI/UX Designer is aimed at gathering user requirements, illustrate design ideas with storyboards, process flows and sitemaps, and designing graphical user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets

 

Make an Impact by 

 

  • Engagement of stakeholders on a culture change to bring customer insights upfront and the importance of customer journey flows upfront.
  • Portal re-designing may not be straightforward, especially when touching on legacy platforms. Different portals have different use cases and are “owned” by different departments. Certain degree of stakeholder management is required.
  • Our projects are subjected to alignment with the overall Group’s Corporate Design requirements. Need to have bird’s eye thinking when planning our internal Design strategy.
  • Raw customer data may need to be filtered and processed before it can be used. Candidate must have strong ability to sift through data to find design insights and create improvements upon.
  • Data security is paramount as we collate such huge breadth and volume of data, for some of our design projects.
  • Design MVPs are run at startup speed, in 6-8 weeks’ sprints. This role requires good self-organising capacity and discipline to ensure the team delivers on aggressive targets.

 

Skills for Success 

 

  • A diploma/degree in UIUX, Design, Creative Design, or relevant discipline.
  •  2+ years of work experience involving UIUX, or creative design
  • Customer journey mapping
  • Running design thinking workshop with business stakeholders and co-creation session with customers
  • Customer interview techniques
  •  Knowledge of Scrum, Design Thinking etc
  • Prototyping software (Figma, Adobe XD)
  • Adobe Creative Suite
