We identify new digital products, enhance customer interaction and achieve digitally enabled functional excellence.

 

In this role, you will contribute to our vision and distil design principles in a model where we work together with customers in small teams to build, test and iterate innovative prototypes. Throughout the project, you will be responsible for all aspects of UI and UX including user research, rapid prototyping, wireframing, interaction design, usability and heuristics testing. You will conceptualise and design an innovative service that balances user behaviour and needs, and business strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Working in a 4-6 person team, your responsibility is to translate concepts and requirements with into end-to-end user experience.
  • Your main role is to act as a usability advocate and consultant to project teams providing expert guidance and thought leadership regarding principles of UI/UX design, Prototyping, user-centered design and related industry best practices.
  • You will apply a design thinking approach in creating design solutions that address both business and user needs with empathy.
  • You will lead the iterative design review process with project teams, acquiring consensus and approvals on designs and documentation. Communicate user experiences through storyboarding, detailed wireframes, task flow diagrams, visual mockups, and prototypes.
  • You will come up with a plan for conducting user research and usability testing. This includes surveys, interviews, customer advisory groups, test strategies and scenarios.
  • You will design information architectures, taxonomies, and component and page layout wireframes that turn very complex systems into clear, navigable, and valuable applications for specialized users.
  • You must be able to turn around rigorous wirefreams and mockups, as well as  build interactive prototypes to test ideas and communicate them internally and externally. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to take products from concept to delivery.
  • You will develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in HCI/Human Factors or relevant discipline (computer science, industrial design, architecture, psychology, etc.) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant UX work experience.
  • Proven success as a UX generalist capable of leading efforts throughout the product development cycle, including user research, early prototyping, detailed design and validation.
  • Experience improving the usability of enterprise software with experience designing UIs for responsive web and desktop applications.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Proven experience in Adobe CS, Sketch, and wireframing/prototyping tools
  • Ability to prototype in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Flash or Flex.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong visual design skills.
  • Ability to take a project from initial scoping requirements through actual design, development and testing.
  • Passion for new technologies, like VR/AR.
  • Experience in various interactive wire-framing and prototyping tools/software.
  • Experience in remote usability testing tools.
