The Web & App UX Designer is responsible for building, delivering, and continuously refining amaysim’s customer experience across our website and mobile app. This hands-on role centers on UX composition, journey optimisation, and practical implementation across digital platforms.
Sitting within the Marketing & CX team, this role partners closely with Product, Technology, CVM, CX, and Coordinated Marketing to bring customer-first experiences to life. The role combines strong UX craft with execution capability, from designing intuitive experiences to getting hands-on updating the platform and supporting delivery.
The Web & App UX Designer will oversee UX guidelines across web and app, contribute to digital releases, and lead continuous refinement of key customer journeys. Flutter experience is desirable, as our web and app platforms are developed and maintained using Flutter.
What you’ll do
- Take responsibility for the complete product experience throughout web and app.
- Build simple, intuitive, and accessible customer experiences that balance customer needs with business objectives and technical constraints.
- Build wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, rapidly prototyping concepts to validate ideas.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure the build intent is delivered and continuously improve the digital experience.
- Understand customer difficulties through research and analytics, translating them into practical product solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution of our system, building reusable patterns and components.
- Support experimentation and A/B testing to optimize customer journeys, bringing to bear AI-assisted tools to accelerate research and ideation.
What you’ll Bring
- At least 7 years of UX experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating outstanding product thinking and customer-centred build.
- Demonstrated capacity to guide products from initial discovery to final production, collaborating closely with engineers to make sure ideas are effectively realized.
- Experience working across shared web and app platforms; familiarity with Flutter is preferred.
- Strong capability in journey mapping, usability testing, and experience optimization across end-to-end customer journeys.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Technology, Marketing, and external partners.
- Data-informed approach, comfortable using insights and testing to inform UX decisions.
- Adaptable and practical, growing in fast-paced environments.
- Natural curiosity about new technologies, AI, and modern product build practices.
