About the role
As a Credit Management Executive (Debt Management), you will be responsible for managing debt recovery and insolvency-related activities, including consumer bankruptcies and corporate insolvency cases. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, collection agencies, legal representatives, and system support teams to ensure effective debt management and process excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee end-to-end insolvency and debt recovery processes.
- Coordinate with debt collection agencies, liquidators, official assignees, and other external parties on delinquent accounts.
- Perform write-off processing, payment allocation, and account reconciliation activities.
- Handle internal and external enquiries professionally and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to investigate and resolve system defects.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives such as RPA and workflow enhancements.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and operational statistics to support business decisions.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and data protection standards.
What we're looking for
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Credit Management, Debt Collection, Debt Recovery, Accounts Receivable, or related finance operations.
- Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in Telecommunications, Banking, Financial Services, or Shared Services environments will be advantageous.
Technical Skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, functions, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.
- Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working with CRM or finance systems.
- Exposure to debt recovery, insolvency management, liquidation, proof of debt processes, or collection agencies is an advantage.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Power Automate or RPA is beneficial.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.
